Colors of STEM

Finding Community

When

noon to 1 p.m., Sept. 25, 2020

Where

Join your peers and colleagues for a safe sense of place and conversation on September 25, 2020, via Zoom. At this meeting, we will be giving an introduction to Colors of STEM and other resources on campus, as well as create a space for folx to get to know each other.

Colors of STEM was created specifically for undergraduate and graduate students of color* pursuing STEM-related degrees. Our hope is to offer a safe sense of place, community, and sounding board for these students, supporting faculty, and staff. In past years, examples of what we have discussed were: sense of place and identity, mental health, and navigating your field as a student of color.

We have amazing facilitators that are currently pursuing their graduate degrees and have experience navigating institutions and systems as individuals of color. This space is for you and created by you!
