What is MAIP?

The Multicultural Advertising Intern Program is an internship program established in 1973 to provide diverse candidates with a paid internship in the advertising industry. The MAIP Fellowship comprises 22 weeks of invaluable professional development experience. Students begin their experience with 12 weeks of Virtual Spring Training led by the industry's best and brightest.

After completing their training, MAIP fellows are flown to their host agency's location for a nine-week, full-time, paid internship experience fully immersing them into the industry. In larger regions, fellows also have the opportunity to attend MAIP Labs–professional development seminars hosted by volunteer agencies nearby.

Applications open every September.
Note: Due to COVID-19, MAIP will continue to remain virtual until further notice.
