Funding Sources

Below are a list of different funding sources to facilitate your graduate studies. Please carefully review the websites for deadlines, procedures, and requirements.

General Financial Aid

Arizona Library Association: Louise A. Stephens Memorial Scholarship
Scholarship amount: $1,000.  To support students enrolled in the University of Arizona ’s School of Information Resources and Library Science M.A. program.

American Library Association (ALA): General Grants, Awards, and Scholarships

The scholarship process is open annually from October - March. Applications and reference forms (which must be submitted online) are available during that time period. Instructions and general information remain available year round.

American Library Association: The Spectrum Initiative Scholarship
Spectrum provides a one-time, non-renewable $5,000 scholarship award paid in two installments directly to the recipient.
