Hong Cui and collaborators awarded a research grant from the NSF

Hong Cui and collaborators have just been awarded a research grant in the amount of $640K from NSF. The project is entitled "ABI innovation: Authors in the driver's seat: fast, consistent, computable phenotype data and ontology production". NSF DBI-1661485. July 2017-June 2020. The project will develop and evaluate software platforms that bring ontologies into scientific authors' workflow. The project involves researchers from UA iSchool, University of Michigan, Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, University of Ottawa, and University of Massachusetts Boston.
