School of Information partnering with Pima County Public Library for outreach project: Fashionable Tech

The University of Arizona School of Information in partnership with the Pima County Public Library will be working together to teach middle and high school students (ages 13-17) how to create light up Halloween costume masks for fun and safety utilizing conductive thread and circuitry. This workshop is to be held in October at the Valencia Branch Library, 202 W. Valencia, Tucson. Registration for this event will be through the Pima County Public Library event website.

We are seeking sponsors to assist in purchasing supplies for the workshop including conductive thread, fabric, batteries, circuit boards and other items. We are happy to acknowledge corporate and individual donors at the event if you wish.
