Emily Thomas has been teaching courses in the iSchool since 2020, including ESOC 300: Digital Storytelling, ESOC 315: Publishing: From Papyrus to E-Readers, ESOC 480: Digital Engagement and LIS 432: Online Searching. She holds an MFA in Poetry from Emerson College and a PhD in English from the University of Arizona. Prior to joining the iSchool, Emily was a postdoctoral fellow in the English Department at UArizona. Her writing has been featured in Cutbank, Redivider, Interrupture and elsewhere. Emily is also a content writer, and she is currently working on designing a website for a local Tucson business. In her spare time, she loves hiking and camping throughout the Southwest, but especially in the Gila Wilderness in New Mexico.
