Tyler Millhouse

Assistant Professor of Practice

Dr. Tyler Millhouse is an instructor at the University of Arizona School of Information (iSchool). He holds a BA in Philosophy from Ashland University, an MA in Philosophy from Tufts University, and a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Arizona. He recently completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Santa Fe Institute under the direction of Melanie Mitchell. Tyler specializes in the philosophy of science, with an emphasis on the philosophy of data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. His research has appeared in Philosophy of ScienceThe British Journal for the Philosophy of Science, and the Australasian Journal of Philosophy.
