Attention College of Social and Behavioral Sciences undergraduate students interested in local event planning, catering and food events!

During the Spring 2019 semester (January 9th - May 1st) the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences will offer academic credit for up to three units with Chef Chic. Chef Chic is a private company that has been in business for over 17 years. We do events for clients providing food, rentals, managing of events, social media promotion and other aspects of running a catering company.  (website: www.chefchicaz.com ). If accepted for this internship opportunity, apply for credit through your major or minor department. If you're not eligible for credit through your major or minor department, please apply for credit through SBS 393.

Both positions will require at least 10 hours of work per week, and some local travel in and around Tucson. Internships will be available in the following areas:

Multi-Media Coordinator: Help develop and manage social media, website, e-newsletter. Assist with community outreach and provide information about Chef Chic at special events. (Especially suited for students majoring or minoring in Communication, Public Relations, Information Science, or Journalism).

Party Planner: Assist in taking calls from clients about what they are looking for in their event, what kind of menus are needed, setting up day of, coordinating staff, confirming all details. (Suited for all majors and students interested in event planning).
