About the UIC Bridge to Faculty Scholars Program

The Bridge to Faculty Scholars Program is designed to recruit promising librarians with the goal of recruiting, mentoring and supporting their transition to a tenure-track junior faculty position.  Bridge to Faculty librarians who are successful at achieving specific, agreed upon goals during this time period may have the opportunity to transition to tenure-track faculty at UIC starting in the 2025-2026 academic year.
