Careers in Tech: Exploring Data Centers with Facebook, Google & Microsoft


The data center sector is young, pioneering and growing quickly. In this invitational, interactive Tech Talk, hear from women leaders in the data center sector at Facebook, Google and Microsoft – and why they want you to consider a career in tech.  This panel of leaders from the technology industry will encourage women and other underrepresented groups to consider the opportunities available, discuss their growth and success stories, and answer attendees’ questions.

 We invite you and your students, aged 15 and older, to register for the

University of Arizona Women’s Hackathon 2018


The event starts with a Kick-Off 5-8pm on Friday October 19th on the UA Mall in front of Bear Down Gym. There will be food, beverages, music from DJ Vamp Feline and empowering words from Keynote Speaker Charisse Richards, IT Phenom!


The Hackathon begins Saturday October 20th with community building Design Thinking activities and continues to amazing workshops throughout the day. Sunday is bot building day and other activities to keep you busy and having fun making and coding! The project demos and competition finishes out our Sunday afternoon. Join us!
