Overall Purpose
 
This position may be up to 12 weeks in length and will work under the direct supervision of a department manager or designee. This position provides data and data services to support the products and also interface with data science team to build features and roll-out ai/ml models
 
Essential Functions
  • Builds and maintains data services in Java, Springboot
  • Collaborates with data science team to understand features and build interfaces to interact with the ai/ml models
  • Writes unit test cases, validate software and help deploy the code to higher environments
  • Collaborates with delivery team to analyze the issues identified and fix them
 
Minimum Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college program with course work related to the internship.
  • working knowledge of Java, spring boot and ability to build rest api services.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently, collaborate with relevant teams to understand the process and deliver the solutions.
  • Background and drug screen
  • Must be US Citizen or US National only.
 
Preferred Qualifications
  • Java, Springboot training or experience

Physical Requirements
 
Working conditions consist of a normal office environment. Work is primarily sedentary and requires extensive use of a computer and involves sitting for periods of approximately four hours. Work may require occasional standing, walking, kneeling, and reaching. Must be able to lift 10 pounds occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently. Requires visual acuity and dexterity to view, prepare, and manipulate documents and office equipment including personal computers. Requires the ability to communicate with internal and/or external customers.
