Machine Learning Imaging Intern

Deadline

This is a position that requires the use of software for the automated detection and quantification of features in microelectronic packages obtained with state-of-the-art imaging systems. You will be responsible to develop a methodology to automate the analysis and quantification of targeted features in image datasets. You will collaborate with Sr. Engineers to create the machine learning protocols and execute laboratory experiments to validate numerical results.

In this internship, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Influence new non-destructive testing methods based on fundamental technical knowledge.

  • Bring innovation in next generation analytical tools for microchips testing by using novel modeling techniques.

  • Validate numerical findings with experimental data.

  • Deliver analytical results that will impact the quality and reliability of new microchip technology.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Relevant experience can be obtained through schoolwork, classes and project work, internships, military training, and/or work experience.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be currently enrolled in Master's or PhD program in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Sciences, Physics, or related field.

  • 6+ months of experience on using image processing software, e.g. ImageJ, or similar image processing software.

  • 3+ months of experience on machine learning.

  • 3+ months of experience with Phyton programming.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 year of experience on programming to customize machine learning / artificial intelligence software.

  • 1 year of experience performing experiments in laboratory setting.
