Colleen Pepper

Adjunct Lecturer

I have always loved all things culture: books, music, art, food and travel.

I am originally from Texas but have been in Tucson since 2020 after being in the Middle East prior. I came to Tucson to take care of my dad who was undergoing treatment for Stage IV Metastasized Melanoma on an evacuation flight during height of Covid. I received my MLIS with Archival Certification from the University of Arizona. Before that, I received my BA in English and History with Secondary Certification in English, History, and ESL at Texas State University.

I am a Veteran of the US Army, I have been an instructor for 20+ years, a Professor here at the UA since Summer of 2022, and a TA before that. I was also President of LISO, a professional organization for LIS students, here at the University of Arizona.

In my free time I absolutely love to travel, read, cross-stitch, and spend time with friends as well as my dad’s cat: Pip.
